"Grandma" Indian-flavored eggplant salad. My late mother Naomi Avnon immigrated to Israel from Moldavia to Kibbutz Hanita in 1938. She was a cooking teacher plus. "Grandma" is what I call my brand. I grew up with a "grandma" taste but making my own "grandma" is a different story. One bright day in 2014 when a woman was not home I went into the kitchen with the recipe in hand and started making "Grandma". 2014 is the year that our son Itamar, along with other passengers, was killed when a Russian missile hit a Malaysian plane over the skies of Ukraine. Itamar was 26. Then the idea arose to establish "Itamar a cooking company" even though Itamar did not know how to cook and usually consumed only fast food.

"Grandma" a natural addition of flavor. I am currently selling an Indian-flavored eggplant grandmother. "Grandma" red peppers. Garlic "Grandma" - Spicy "Grandma".
